"The Book of McKee," pg 271 - pedigree from William Skene, D.C.L., LL.D., Historiographer-Royal of Scotland, in "Celtic Scotland," Edinburgh 1890; reigned as King of Scotland 862-76.
A History of the Scottish Highlands (941 H2k, pg 49) stated he succeeded his uncle Donald in 863 and was killed by pirates in 881 "Robert the Bruce, King of Scots" by Ronald McNair Scott gives birth of 836 and death as 877 at Black Cove, Angus, Scotland...which we have entered under burial information.
www.parsonstech.com/genealogy agrees with the death place of Black Cove, Angus and says he was buried in Iona, Argyllshire. It states he was killed in a battle against the Norsemen. He reigned 863-877.
He was Constantine II mac Cionaodha or Mac Kinaodha, per Book of McKee, pg 408, "Kings of Scotland" from O'Flaherty's gygia which was written in 1684 during the Reign of Charles II and reigned 862-876 - 14 years
